Scope of the publication

Sahel Futures works from public sources. The article set does not represent field coverage across the entire ecological Sahel or an established reporting presence in each country.

We removed the earlier route map because the evidence did not support its connected routes. The rewritten cocaine article distinguishes the cases and the limits of the source record.
